Why we made this

Modern mountain bike riding asks a lot from a saddle.
Long climbs. Rough traverses. Technical descents. Hours spent both seated and moving around the bike.
The Limber was developed for riders looking for a more supportive platform without sacrificing mobility. Building on the proven shape and vacuum-formed construction of our Lift saddle, we refined the profile with a shorter overall length and a more pronounced center relief channel.
The result is a saddle that supports the sit bones, reduces pressure where it matters most, and stays out of the way when you're shifting your position on the bike.
Comfort isn't just about softness. It's about support, freedom of movement, and a shape that works with you through every part of the ride.

key features

Not all saddles are created equal.

LTD Editions

Keep an eye out for limited edition versions of our saddles. From time to time we do special small runs, with fancy graphics and different finishes and materials.

Lynx DT Mountain Bike Saddle Chromag Bikes MTB seats
Durable Top

Our DT (Durable Top) is a synthetic covering for riders who see a lot of wet weather or for DH and Freeride applications where extra durability is needed.

Available on Lynx DT, Mood DT and Trailmaster DT.

Note: Most of our LTD models use more exotic materials and as such, don't use the DT.

Cro-Mo Rails

We use cr-mo (Chromoly Steel) rails on all of our saddles for tried and tested strength and durability.

Saddle FAQ's

For "trail" riding, a good rule of thumb is level with the ground on a flat surface. In other words, horizontal.

Tipping the nose down can aid in comfort on steep climbs, however DJ and DH riders tend to lift the nose above the horizontal, for extra leg control.

Yes! We have a demo fleet of saddles available at Chromag HQ in Whistler.

In short, yes.

Leather saddles can be treated with surface conditioners.  Check with your local hardware store, shoe maker or leather specialist for available products.  Note that different conditioners can have different effects on the leather (IE. softening or discoloration).  The user takes all responsibility for the results of any treatments applied to the saddle.

It’s important to know that the cover of a saddle is made of soft material and by that nature, it will start changing from the day you start using it.

Leather saddles are likely to go through more change than DT saddles. (See aftercare)

The denim and canvas LTD editions are expected to both absorb dirt, and wear in organic ways.

You can read the full user guide here, but to avoid any kind of creaking, make sure the rails and the seatpost clamp are spotlessly clean!

If something is creaking, remove the saddle from the post and make sure the rails and clamps are clean. You'd be amazed how much noise a bit of dirt can make.

As for the finish, any DT saddles don't really need any aftercare. However it's not a bad idea to treat any leather saddle with some high quality leather treatment from time to time (like you might use for leather gloves for example).

Loving the new saddle, comfy on the uphills and has a nice slim profile to stay out of the way on the downhills, and it looks great

Bought for wife’s bike

She loves it!! Comfy, supportive, and has that unstated classy look that takes a hoe from the streets to a freak in the forest.

Slim, comfy, durable

Short nose keeps the saddle out of the way on descents. Enough side padding if you like to drive with your knees. Firm enough to support me properly ur still supple enough to ride without a chamois. The stack height feels low profile to give me a little extra drop. Even after riding in mud the saddle still looks new after a wash. Will be putting on all my bikes.
